Garage doors
Garage door installation across Rodney and North Auckland
We supply and install the Windsor Garage Doors range across the North Shore and Rodney, including Silverdale, Warkworth and Mangawhai.
Our Garage Door Range

Sectional COLORSTEEL®
- Best choice of profiles and colours
- Takes insulation and windows
- Low maintenance

Roller doors
Coils into a roll above the opening instead of running back along the ceiling, so nothing intrudes into the room.
- Keeps the ceiling free
- Costs a little less than a sectional
- One profile, the full COLORSTEEL® range

Aluminium
For homes close enough to the water to feel it. Far better corrosion resistance than steel, and over 100 Dulux powdercoat colours.
- Resists salt air
- Almost no maintenance
- Custom architectural options

Cedar & timber
Real cedar with a rich grain, in horizontal or vertical panels, dressed or band sawn, in 20 shades of stain.
- Natural warmth and character
- Naturally insulating
- The only door here that needs recoating

Commercial roller doors
Light commercial roller doors for workshops and farm sheds, built for the cycles a working building puts through them.
- Openings up to 4.8m x 4.5m
- Zincalume, COLORSTEEL® or powdercoat
- Custom builds for oversized openings

Insulation
Autex insulation on a new sectional door, or retrofitted to the one already on the wall.
- Warmer, cooler and much quieter
- Stops damp and mildew
- Turns the garage into a room
How an installation runs
Four steps, and you talk to the same people at each one.
- Step 1
Free measure and quote. We come to you, measure the opening, check the headroom and the structure, and tell you which doors will actually fit.
- Step 2
You choose the door, the colour and the options. You can try colours on a photo of your own garage first, and we bring physical COLORSTEEL samples out with us so the final call is made against the real thing.
- Step 3
We book a date. A straightforward door and motor is usually under three hours; a large or awkward opening can take most of a day.
- Step 4
We install it, balance it, test it and show you how it works. The old door and packaging leave with us.
Before we arrive
Nothing complicated, and it keeps the install quick.
- Clear the garage area around the opening and secure anything loose nearby
- Make sure there is clear access to a power outlet if a motor is going in
- Leave the driveway clear enough for the ute and the trailer
- If the door is being replaced, we take the old one away, so nothing needs doing with it

Replacing a door versus fixing one
Not every failed door needs replacing. A broken spring, a frayed cable, a worn roller or a tired motor are all repairs, and a repair on a sound door is a fraction of the cost of a new one.
Replacement makes sense when the panels are damaged or corroded, when the door is so old that parts are no longer available, or when it is doing a job it was never suited to. It also makes sense when the door is the front of the house and looks it.
We will tell you which one you are looking at. If your door can be repaired, we would rather repair it and be the people you call next time.
Why work with us
Windsor manufacture our sectional and roller doors at their South Auckland facility. They've been supplying quality garage doors across NZ for almost 30 years, and we're proud to be their trusted partner servicing from the Harbour Bridge to the Brynderwyns.
From quote acceptance to installation, we work hard to make it a seamless process. If required, we can have your door operational in two weeks. Architectural doors require a longer lead-in time.
Has your door failed? Car stuck inside? We can normally get a technician with you the same day. If not, we will point you in the right direction to get a speedy outcome.
Our Windsor made COLORSTEEL® range is engineered locally to withstand the toughest conditions. This industrial grade durability comes with a rock-solid 10 year warranty. Choose COLORSTEEL®. Trusted by Kiwis.
Locally owned, serving Warkworth, Mangawhai and Silverdale. We know which products last in North Auckland conditions.

Common questions
For a small, simple door and motor we are usually finished in under three hours. A larger or more complex door, or one where the opening needs work first, can take most of the day. For repairs and servicing we are generally on site between one and four hours. We give you a more accurate estimate when we book the job, and we tell you before we start if anything on site changes it.
Yes. The old door and all the packaging leave with us on the same visit, and it is included in the price rather than appearing as an extra line on the quote. You do not need to arrange a skip, book an inorganic collection or find somewhere to store it. Clearing the site is part of the job as far as we are concerned.
Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. We come to you, measure the opening properly, check the headroom and the structure above it, and tell you which doors will physically fit before we talk about price. If your existing door can be repaired rather than replaced, we will tell you that too.
Generally we supply and install as one job, because that is the only way we can stand behind the door, the motor and the workmanship together. If you have already bought a door somewhere else, call us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. What we will not do is install something we think is wrong for the opening and then be blamed for how it performs.
Everywhere in North Auckland and the Rodney district. That means Silverdale, Stillwater, Milldale, Millwater, Orewa and Puhoi on the Hibiscus Coast, then Warkworth, Snells Beach, Matakana, Omaha, Point Wells, Leigh, Pakiri and Wellsford, and north to Mangawhai, Kaiwaka and Langs Beach. We also cover the rural and lifestyle blocks in between. If you are just outside that list, call and ask rather than assuming we cannot reach you.
Clear the garage area around the opening and secure anything loose nearby, so nothing gets knocked while the old door comes off. Make sure there is clear access to a power outlet if a motor is going in, and leave enough room on the driveway for the ute and trailer. That is the whole list. Everything else, including removing the old door, is ours to sort out.
