A family business run by Chris and Lucie. Formerly Silverdale, Warkworth & Mangawhai Garage Doors, now one team covering the whole area from Silverdale to Mangawhai.
Three towns, one team
We started as three businesses in three neighbouring towns: Warkworth Garage Doors, Silverdale Garage Doors and Mangawhai Garage Doors. They were doing the same work for the same kind of customers a few kilometres apart, so we brought them together.
What that changed is coverage. There are technicians on the road across North Auckland and Rodney every day, so a broken spring in Mangawhai does not wait for someone to drive up from the city when enough work stacks up to justify the trip.
What it did not change is who you deal with. Chris owns the business, quotes the jobs and answers the phone. There is no account manager in between, and if something goes wrong you are talking to the person who can fix it.
We are trade qualified, with 40 years of installs and repairs between us. That is mostly useful for the unglamorous part: knowing which products actually last in coastal North Auckland conditions, and being straight with you about when a door needs replacing and when it just needs a repair.

The sectional and roller doors we fit are manufactured at Windsor's Auckland facility. Building them here is what keeps the wait between quote and installation short.
Expect about two weeks from accepting the quotation to installation day. Specialist architectural doors and powder coated finishes take a little longer.
If your door has failed and the car is stuck inside, we aim to be with you the same day, and we will tell you straight away if we cannot.
Our best-selling range is locally manufactured NZ COLORSTEEL, with a 10 year warranty against defects. Standard non-COLORSTEEL doors carry 2 years.

New garage door sales and installation, garage door openers and motors, garage door insulation, repairs, servicing and maintenance, and remote supply and programming. We cover residential work, and light commercial roller doors for workshops and farm sheds. We also repair and service doors supplied by anyone else, which is a large part of what we do.
Yes, on both products and workmanship. COLORSTEEL® doors carry 10 years, other doors 2 years, openers 5 or 7 years depending on the model, our installation 1 year and our repair work 3 months. Our warranty page sets out the full terms and the servicing that keeps a new door covered. If something we supplied or repaired fails inside its cover, you call us and we come back and sort it out.
